A compact PC is installed in the housing of the Mebis terminal, accessible only with a key. The inputs and outputs on the back of the screen are additionally covered to prevent the connection of unauthorized devices. Mebis software starts in kiosk mode. This ensures that the system is used exclusively for its intended purpose, prevents manipulation, and does not allow unauthorized programs to be started. Only websites that have been explicitly approved can be opened.

The kiosk solution is designed for maximum user-friendliness. When the system is turned on, Mebis starts automatically and does not require login—so the application is immediately ready for use.

Additionally, an auto-start schedule can be set: The system starts automatically every day at 7:00 AM and shuts down at 5:00 PM. This saves time, reduces energy consumption, and ensures smooth operation.
